Green Apple Chutney
Ingredients
- 2 cups green cooking apples peeled and thinly sliced
- ½ cup white vinegar
- 1 cup sugar adjust according to taste
- 1 tsp ginger slices
- A pinch of salt
- Dried red chilli cut into thin slices (adjust according to taste)
Instructions
- Combine the apple slices with white vinegar, sugar, ginger slices, salt, and the dried red chilli in a pan.
- Cook the mixture on medium heat initially, then reduce to low heat.
- Stir continuously until the sauce thickens and the apple slices become tender, approximately 20 minutes.
- Once the chutney has cooled, transfer it into a jar for storage.

Feel free to adjust the sugar and dried red chilli according to your taste preferences to achieve the desired balance of sweetness and heat. This chutney can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
