Ravo (Semolina w/Milk)

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp semolina
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 whole cardamom
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 ½ tbsp sugar
  • Raisins and sliced almonds

Instructions

  • Sauté the semolina in the butter. Add the cinnamon stick and cardamom. Brown a bit.
  • Add the milk till semolina grains are soft but not mushy.
  • Add sugar to taste and cook down a bit.
  • In a separate pan, brown raisins and sliced almonds in butter and sprinkle on cooked semolina with milk.
  • Serve.
