Prawn Curry
Ingredients
- 1 kg prawns
- 1 cup onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tsp red chili
- 2 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 2 tsp onion paste
- 2 sticks curry leaves
- ½ cup oil
- ½ cup tamarind water
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 level tsp mustard
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat oil, add in the mustard and cut onions. Then, add the fenugreek seeds and onion paste.
- Add red chill, garlic, ginger and turmeric.
- Mix in the tomatoes and curry leaves.
- Add prawns and keep stirring.
- Pour water and keep cooking. Add salt.
- When prawns are half-done, add tamarind water and keep cooking until the prawns are done.
