Ravo (Semolina w/Milk)
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 whole cardamom
- 3 cups milk
- 1 ½ tbsp sugar
- Raisins and sliced almonds
Instructions
- Sauté the semolina in the butter. Add the cinnamon stick and cardamom. Brown a bit.
- Add the milk till semolina grains are soft but not mushy.
- Add sugar to taste and cook down a bit.
- In a separate pan, brown raisins and sliced almonds in butter and sprinkle on cooked semolina with milk.
- Serve.
