Prawn Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg prawns
  • 1 cup onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp red chili
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 tsp onion paste
  • 2 sticks curry leaves
  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ cup tamarind water
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 level tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil, add in the mustard and cut onions. Then, add the fenugreek seeds and onion paste.
  • Add red chill, garlic, ginger and turmeric.
  • Mix in the tomatoes and curry leaves.
  • Add prawns and keep stirring.
  • Pour water and keep cooking. Add salt.
  • When prawns are half-done, add tamarind water and keep cooking until the prawns are done.
