Gundruk Bhatamas ko Jhol (Himali Soup)
Ingredients
- 50 gm Rayokogundruk
- 10 gm soybean
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp cumin & coriander powder
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 100 gm tomatoes chopped into small pieces/sauces
- 100 gm onions chopped into small pcs
- ½ tbsp cooking oil
- 2 pcs dry chilies
- 1 litre water
- 2 tbsp rice or maize flour
Instructions
- Clean the gundruk and roast for a while.
- Meanwhile, roast the soybeans and keep the gundruk and soybeans separately.
- Heat a pan ,add oil, and fry the dry chilies and onion for a while.
- Mix in the coriander and cumin powder with garlic paste and fry for a while.
- Put in the tomatoes and cook for a while.
- Put in the gundruk and soybean and stir.
- Mix in the rice or maize flour with water and stir. Cook over a low heat. Let the mixture boil for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and serve.
